Reasons my parents need to come back

1. Laundry was getting done
2. Dishes were getting washed
3. Baby holding is easier with 4 people to share
4. Three nutritious meals were being cooked daily
5. House was clean
6. Someone was around to answer the phone/door during feedings
7. People to talk to during the day
8. Extra diaper changer
9. Grandparents just need to be around

Thanks for all your help Mom and Dad, we miss you already.

i thought i didn’t need much help. i called mom (crying)when jackson was a week old and asked her to come back-which she did for a week. i found that i mostly needed someone around to talk to and keep me company and also to reassure me that i was doing a good job.
hang in there! and remember the laundry and dishes will always be there and isabelle will change in the blink of an eye. when in doubt, hang out with her 🙂

Your parents will miss being there as much as you will miss them. I’m sure it was just as hard for them to leave you and little Isabelle. I know your Mom well enough that she will be checking airline tickets for a grandma weekend. (Hummmm…maybe I need to join your Mom on one of her weekends to see Isabelle). We grandparents sorta get attached to our grandkids. 🙂 Don’t worry to much about what you can’t get done around the house. Just enjoy Isabelle for she will grow up way to fast.

    Love you,
    Aunt Devonne

After Samuel was born, there were days when Luke would come home and find me still in my pj’s because I felt like I couldn’t even squeeze in a shower…much less do the dishes and laundry!
It will get easier…and no matter how old your kids get, it is always great to have Mom come and help with things!

Dad and I will come back anytime, just say ‘when”! We already miss our little Isabelle and of course we miss the two of you as well. Thanks for letting us hang out for “19 whole days”. We had a lot of fun. Love all three of you, Mom and Dad
