March 12th, 149 days to go

I did this for my wedding, now I’m going to do it for my child:

Psalm 149

1 Praise the LORD.
Sing to the LORD a new song,
his praise in the assembly of the saints.

2 Let Israel rejoice in their Maker;
let the people of Zion be glad in their King.

3 Let them praise his name with dancing
and make music to him with tambourine and harp.

4 For the LORD takes delight in his people;
he crowns the humble with salvation.

5 Let the saints rejoice in this honor
and sing for joy on their beds.

6 May the praise of God be in their mouths
and a double-edged sword in their hands,

7 to inflict vengeance on the nations
and punishment on the peoples,

8 to bind their kings with fetters,
their nobles with shackles of iron,

9 to carry out the sentence written against them.
This is the glory of all his saints.
Praise the LORD.

  1. Timmay! says:

    But what is the baby is early and you don’t finish!? Or if it is late and you spill into the end of Job!?

  2. Amy says:

    I’d probably be better off picking a book that has the amount of chapters the doctor says I have left. Like, if I have 6 days to go then: Galatians, Ephesians, or I Timothy. Or maybe I’ll do a combination of books that add up to the right amount. Or maybe I’ll be so sick of counting down that I’ll just read something completely different just ’cause.

  3. Michael says:

    I didn’t want to say anything, but I’m concerned. Where has your marriage gone. I can see it now, your sitting right next to each other, you give each other a loving glance, and then you POST A COMMENT ON EACH OTHER’S BLOG!!! Instead of just talking to each other. Wow, what is our world coming to!!

    🙂 Love you guys
